This course covers a variety of child protection issues and is suitable for anyone who comes into contact with children either as part of their working life or on a volunteer basis. It aims to inform about the various types of abuse or neglect to a child and then explain what you must do if you suspect that a child is being abused or neglected. This is the full version and is suitable for members of staff who come into contact with children throughout the day.
A slightly shorter version of this course (without graphics) is available (foundation) and this is aimed at staff whose role is not specifically with children and who don't deal with children on a daily basis, but who may come into contact with children during their working day.Course Details

Target Audience
Anyone who, through their work or volunteering, comes into contact with children. Please be aware that this training content deals with a potentially disturbing subject matter and material and images used may be of a graphic nature. The module carries links to help lines and national support agencies that can be contacted should you feel the need to talk about the subject to someone other than your colleagues or manager.Duration
