About us

The Healthcare Academy is part of the Health and Social Care Division of Virtual College. Founded in 1995 Virtual College has over 2 million online learners and this is growing at a rate over 1,000 a day across both public and private sectors. Since 2006 we have provided training to every NHS trust.

The Healthcare Academy work alongside subject matter experts to develop online courses specifically designed to meet the needs of those working within a healthcare environment. We work with NHS trusts, CCGs, CSUs, general practitioners and private healthcare providers to ensure the continuing safety and well-being of their staff and patients.
