NHS Diabetes

Welcome to the free online training course on the Safe Use of Insulin.  

This resource has been designed for all Health Professionals who need to administer insulin for patients with diabetes.

You will be directed to a self-registration page where you will need to register your details as a new learner. All mandatory information fields are marked with red *. 

Once registered, the e-learning course will appear on the Active Learning Tab along with a learner tutorial. The tutorial is there as a guide for using the system. This is not mandatory however you may find it useful to complete before undertaking the training.  

Access the training by clicking on the course name or the action item. Access each unit by clicking on the start>> link. 

To get the full benefit of the training, you will need to ensure that your sound is turned on so that you can hear the narration. 

On completion of the course you will have the opportunity to print a learner certificate and complete the online feedback questionnaire. Please note that you will need to access the feedback questionnaire in order to show your course as fully complete.
