Awareness of Child Abuse and Neglect - 6 Versions Available

These courses cover a variety of child protection and safeguarding children issues and are suitable for anyone who comes into contact with children. They aim to inform about various types of abuse or neglect to a child and explain what to do if it is suspected that a child is being abused or neglected. The course comes in 6 versions: Introduction, Foundation, Core, Young People, Police Version and Think Safe, Be Safe, Stay Safe.

Safeguarding Adults

This courses raises awareness of legislation, covers types of abuse that can occur, develops understanding of safeguarding culture, alongside whistle blowing procedures and codes of practice.  

Safeguarding Everyone - Protecting Children, Young People and Vulnerable Adults

This course will give you the knowledge and skills to ensure you can help safeguard everyone you have contact with whilst carrying out your duties, not only those you are directly responsible for.

Safeguarding Children and Young People from Abuse by Sexual Exploitation

This course aims to increase awareness of the main issues around the sexual exploitation of children and young people. It is aimed at anyone who comes into contact with children and young people during the course of their work. This course raises awareness of the legislation and guidance that applies to vulnerable groups and how these policies can be applied in practice.

Basic Awareness of Domestic Violence Including the Impact on Children and Young People

This course raises awareness of the issues surrounding domestic violence and is suitable for volunteers, practitioners and managers from all sectors.

Safeguarding Children with Disabilities

This course aims to raise awareness of the specific needs of disabled children in relation to their vulnerability. It teaches learners how to communicate with disabled children about their experiences and how to provide support.
